Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
This is a starting-point template provided for convenience. Please have it reviewed by a qualified legal professional and tailored to your registered business before relying on it.
This Privacy Policy explains how HomeopathyWorld (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, role, and profile details you provide.
- Practice data — patient records, case notes, and analyses that practitioners enter into the Service.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and AI requests, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor (Razorpay). We do not store your card or bank details.
2. How we use information
We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, personalise your experience, process subscriptions, communicate with you, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. AI processing
Some features send the content you submit — for example, case-simulation prompts, study questions, or a document you upload to auto-fill a patient record — to third-party AI providers (Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini) solely to generate a response or extract the details you requested. Uploaded documents are processed in memory to read their contents and are not stored by us. We do not use your patient records to train AI models.
4. Data security
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected with database row-level security, so patient records are accessible only to the practitioner who created them. We use encryption in transit and apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, AI, email, payments) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent or close your account. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Data retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
